Our story
Linda & Joe
Linda and Joe Bega started Apopka Marine in 1972. In 1984 they brought it to Citrus County and set up on Gulf to Lake Highway in Inverness, where it has been ever since.
They ran the business together for 42 years. Joe passed in 2023, and Linda still leads it today, alongside a team that treats customers the way the Begas always have.
Along the way

The business moves to Inverness and becomes a Citrus County fixture.

After 42 years side by side, Joe passes. Linda carries on.
